Sources
We collect consumer health data directly from you when you use CalorieCade, automatically from your device, and from food databases that supply nutrition details for the foods you choose.
Consumer health data we share
- With your Duo partner, at your direction: whether you logged and checked in today, your daily scores, matchups and quests, and your food log only if you turn on food sharing. You can stop food sharing at any time.
- With service providers that process it for us: cloud hosting and database, website hosting and content delivery, sign-in and authentication, email delivery, and error monitoring providers. They may use it only to provide services to CalorieCade.
- As required by law: when needed to comply with a legal obligation.
We do not sell consumer health data. We do not have affiliates. We do not allow third parties to collect consumer health data about you over time and across different websites or online services.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Confirm and access: confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, get a copy of it, and get a list of all third parties with whom we have shared it, with a way to contact them.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing, for example by turning off food sharing.
- Delete: have your consumer health data deleted. Delete your account in Account → Settings, or ask us. We delete it from our records, including backups within 30 days, and tell our service providers to delete it too.
- Review and correct: review your data in the app and change it at any time.
To exercise these rights, email support@caloriecade.com from the email address on your account. We'll verify your request and respond within 45 days, extended once by up to 45 days where reasonably necessary (we'll tell you why within the first 45 days). Requests are free up to twice a year.
Appeals: if we decline your request, reply with "Appeal" in the subject line. We'll respond in writing within 45 days, explaining our decision. If your appeal is denied, you can contact the Washington Attorney General or the Nevada Attorney General.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any change here with a new effective date. If we make a material change, we'll tell you in the app or by email, and we'll ask for your consent before using consumer health data in a new way.
